  This is a website dedicated to bringing together  useful information & links to other great websites, about about all things outdoors in the Sierra  Nevada mountains of Nevada and California. The possibilities are  endless for fun and adventure in these beautiful mountains from the volcanic areas of Lassen National Park in the north to the  Giant  Sequoias of Sequoia National Park in the south.
   Here my I will mostly focus on the central Sierras from Donner Pass (Highway  80) to Tioga Pass (Highway 120). I have roamed these  mountains for most of my life and I have alot to share with anyone  who would like to plan an exciting vacation here.
    You can find information on campgrounds, hiking & biking trails,  fishing  in the many lakes, streams and rivers  and maps of the  region and more. I hope this helps you on your road to adventure!

Where I Belong
    As the suns sinks in the west and the light fades in the sky
   I can see the crimson clouds reflected in your eyes
   I can feel a warm breeze blowin', a tingle on my face
   I can hear the water flowin', I'm happy in this place
    Crickets sing in harmony, like music to my ears
   It provides distraction to my mind, all my hopes and fears
   Coyotes howling far away, a hawk  soars up above
   It makes me realize I belong in the mountains that I love
    I need peace and solitude, mountain's majesty
   The smell of pine trees in the wind and rivers flowing free
   Alpine meadows green and gold and forests dark and tall
   I'll return when the bell tolls to the wonder of  it all
